Liverpool Baltic Station
Overview
Liverpool City Region Combined Authority (LCRCA) has secured £100m to build a brand new railway station, called Liverpool Baltic, on the Northern Line of the Merseyrail network.
The station will be close to the Baltic Triangle at the junction of Parliament Street and St James Place. It will be midway between Liverpool Central Station and Brunswick Station.
The station will:
- Reduce the number of cars in the area, helping to reduce congestion and improve air quality;
- Provide access to employment, training, leisure, business and cultural opportunities for people who live locally and for others coming into the area;
- Support the growth of the local economy;
- Support other public and private investment in the area.
This survey should take approximately 5 minutes to complete.
